i actually told mrs friedman to leave us on the website but she said theres not enough room- but i told her we cant handle being on there as alumni!!!! :( its NOT NORMAL!!

Batya, being a nerd is not bad. It simply means that you'd rather be intelligent than be stupid, that you'd rather be thoughtful than be vapid, that you believe that there are things that matter more than the food on your plate. Insults these days (even to yourself) are kind of lame. Even 'lame' is kind of lame. Saying 'You're lame' is like saying 'You walk with a limp.'
BTW, I didn't make this up. The most brilliant YA author, John Green, said this a couple of months ago.
