hey girls-
so you know how we were all obsessed with the twilight books this year? I was in the library and i saw this book by the author stephanie meyers or whatever her name is- and its called the host. I was soo skeptical- cuz i loved the twilight books, but i read it and wow. mamish amazing, creepy but still really really good. no theres nobody in the book who measures up to edward, but yeah... Totally worth wasting time, cuz we all have nothing to do anyway.
miss you all tons!!!!!

You know, I read on one of the comments on one of my favorite author's blog is that Stephanie Meyer does not have a "kesher" with her readers and I think that's absolutely true. I was never really very into her books and I never understood why until I until I read that comment. YA literature is an interesting genre because the authors have very strong "kesheirim" to their readers through blogs and vlogs and book tours and that's what I really enjoy about the genre. Stephanie Mayer does not and that's why I never really got into her books.
i dunno about the host i started reading it also cuz its stephenie meyer and i love edward but i feel like its going no where its not grasping my attention
yeah, i thought it was going nowhere...but it really does...i was like fast forwarding thru the begining, but then...oh geez. its good. trust me...
um i am going to spark a lot of controversy and mention that i loathe edward. (don't kill me please)
anyway, is the host really that good, b/c i saw it somewhere and it looked too creepy and idk, melodramatic.
u lie. u can't loathe edward. no.
oh, she can. there's a whole bunch of pp in sternberg who either hate edward/bella/jacob and only read the books to make fun of them- re: eclipse pg ??: s/t along the lines of
EDWARD: bella. i want you. i luv you. let's.........
u can guess where this is going.
i can kinda see how this is hugely entertaining. but the house of night books by pc cast are really good if u need a good vamp fix that's not twilight.
